Enclosed are copies of the final repons for the August 29 and 30,1995, medical drills
.of the offsite radiological emergency response plans site-specific to the Cooper and Fon Calhoun Nuclear Stations. The States of Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska participated in these drills. These reports were prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region VII staff. A copy of the final reports will be l
provided to the States of Iowa, Missouri, and Nebraska by the FEMA Rej; ion VII staff.
There were no Deficiencies or Areas Requiring Corrective Action identified dunng these drills. Based on the results of the August 29 and 30,1995, medical drills, the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the States ofIowa, Missouri, and Nebraska and the affected local jurisdictions, site-specific to the Cooper and Fort Calhoun Nuclear Stations, can be implemented and are adequate to i
provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken offsite to provide transport and treatment of contaminated, injured, or exposed individuals.
