Byron Station Unit 1 Application of Steam Generator F* Criteria Byron Unit 1 Mid-Cycle Outage (October-November 1995)
Dear Mr. Miller:
This letter is to inform the Commission of Steam Generator tubes that were left in service as a result of applying the F* repair criteria during the Byron Unit 1 Cycle 7 mid-cycle eddy current inspection. This information is being reported pursuant to Facility Operating License NPF-37, Appendix A, Technical Specification 3/4.4.5.5.e.
In accordance with Specification 3/4.4.5.5.e, the F* report shall include:
- 1) Identification of F* Tubes, and
- 2) Location and size of the degradation.
A total of two (2) tubes in all four steam generators had the F* repair criteria applied.
They are as follows:

-3.14 inches 2.32 volts The size of the degradation was reported from the rotating pancake coil operating at a frequency of 300 kHz.
