SCHEDULE FOR EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PERSONNEL ACCOUNTABILITY-PROJECT SALEM AND HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATIONS DOCKET NOS. 50-272,_50-311, AND 50-354 In accordance with Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) letter (NLR-N91213) dated December 30, 1991, an approved personnel accountability project will provide a system design-change package with a target schedule for implementation of November 1993.
The project schedule includes detailed engineering, equipment procurement, installation, testing, acceptance, and procedure updates to meet the targeted completion date.
This project:will address concerns identified in Inspection Report 50-354/89-14 and allow PSE&G to consistently account for personnel as a-result of an emergency and meet NRC time guidelines.
As noted in our previous letter (NLR-N91213) interim corrective actions were instituted to reduce the time required for accountability.
