Dear Mr. Adams:

Corrections to the Army's 16 March 1992 response to the NRC's request for additional information are provided 1AW phonecon discussion between Mr. Mark Mahoney (llSATilAMA) and Messers A. Alexander and S. Klementowicz (NRC) on 30 March 1992.

a. Comment 17. The third sentence should read: "They were denied access to areas where ambient radiation fields or possible contamination exists within the reactor building."
b. Comment 24. The original response stated that "the level is gxpressed in .

dpm/100 cm.. . ." This should have been expresnod as "dpm/100 cm'." j

c. Comment 26. Table 8-1 should read:

The I second paragragh on page 1-57 of the Decommishioning Plan did not specify the i contracting mechanism for the QAE/llP. The Army shall contract for the OAE/llP and the decommissioning contractor independant of one another. This will maintain the independance of the Q AE /itP.
