Morris and Ferguson:
We enclose copies of the prepared direct testimony and supporting Exhibits offered by the Long Island Lighting Company
("LILCO") on the adequacy and reliability of the Transamerica Delaval, Inc. ("TDI") emergency diesel generators installed at the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station.
The enclosed testimony addresses each issue concerning the TDI diesels admitted for litigation in this proceeding.

- favorable rulings on LILCO's August 7, 1984 Motion to Strike portions of the testimony submitted by Suffolk County.
Other elements go to issues that appear not to have been addressed by Suffolk County in its testimony and may no longer be in controversy.
We also enclose "LILCO's Motion for Leave to Make Restricted Service of Certain Documents, for a Protective Order and for In Camera Cross-Examination Concerning the Documents."
This Motion pertains to certain TDI drawings LILCO plans to introduce as foundation for testimony which contain proprietary information LILCO has agreed to protect from public dissemination.
Pending the Board's ruling on this Motion, LILCO has excluded these drawings in the copies of the Exhibits to be served on the parties.
