D. Saccomando letter to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission-dated November 9,1995, transmitting " Clarification of Braidwood Unit 1 Inspection Data" The purpose of this letter is to clarify the interim ins)ection of the Braidwood Unit 1 steam generator tubes as discussed in t1e Reference letter.

l Commonwealth Edison interprets its commitment to perform an interim inspection within 0.5 effective full power year as limiting the operation of Braidwood Unit 1 between eddy current inspection of the steam generator top-of-tube l

sheet for a time not to exceed 24 weeks at operating temperature above a T-Hot of 500 F during the forthcoming Cycle 6.

Commonwealth Edison intends to continue its evaluation of circumferential cracking data with the intention of determining appropriate cycle length for Braidwood Unit 1.

It is anticipated that further discussions with the NRC will take place on this topic in the near future.
