SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SON) - IMPLEMENTATION OF STATION BLACKOUT (SBO) COMMITMENTS FOR UNIT 1 (TAC NO. M89658)

The purpose of this letter is to provide the implementation status for SBO J

commitments to NRC. The procedure changes, programs, and modifications for Unit 1 have been completed. The modifications to the turbine-driven auxiliary feedwater level control valves have been completed to satisfy the last action for the Unit 1 SBO implementation. This same modification was completed previously for Unit 2 during the Cycle 6 refueling outage as described in a letter from TVA to NRC dated November 9,1994. This completes the last commitment associated with SON's SBO implementation plan.

Please direct questions concerning this issue to Keith Weller at (423) 843-7527.
