FINNERAN, JR, REGARDING CORRECTION TO AFFIDAVIT CONCERNING CONSIDERATION OF FRICTION FORCES In my affidavit in support of Applicants' reply to CASE's answer to Applicants' motion for summary disposition regaiding consideration of friction forces (filed September 19, 1984), I corrected (at pages 8-9) CASE's misreading of the dimensions of a support drawing.
In making that correction I stated the support "is" installed with a particular gap.
Because that support is no longer designed as shown in that drawing, as I stated in the June 6,
1984, telephone conference (Tr. 50), I should have stated that a correct reading of the drawing dimensions shows that the gap "would" exist.
CASE noted this apparent inconsistency in its October 1, 1984, affidavit (at 7) answering Applicants' reply 8411060604 841106 PDR ADOCK 05000445 g
