Dear Mr. Denton:
As requested by members of your staff, Commonwealth Edison commits to performing a visual examination of Quad Cities Unit 1 reactor coolant piping during each outage in which its containment is deinerted.
The results of the inspections will be documented and made available for NRC review.
This inspection plan will be in effect for the next operating cycle.
We feel this commitment fully
-meets the requirements in Generic Letter 84-11 for visual examination (Attachment 1, Item E).
