Dear Nr. Denton:
This letter provides additional information regarding the calibration of instrumentation for radiological monitoring of effluent noble gases at-the Byron and Braidwood stations.
NRC review of.this information is necessary to close an open item in section 11.5 of the. Byron SER.
Enclosed with this letter are the current calibration reports for the GA RD-72 wide-range gas monitor and the GA RD-52 offline beta detector.
.These reports include revisions necessary to address Staff questions regarding the calibration techniques and
__ energy response for these detectors.
