Specification 4.4.5.5.b 'of reference (1) requires that within 12 months following the completion of each inservice inspection of steam generator tt.bes the complete results of the inspection shall be submitted to the Commission in a Special Report pursuant to Specification 6.9.2. This report shall include the number and extent of tubes inspected, location and percent of wall-thickness penetration for each indication of an imperfection, and identification of tubes plugged or repaired. The Braidwood Unit 2 steam generator eddy current inspection was completed October 25,1994.
1 During this inspection,100% of the tubing in the 2B and 2C steam generators received 1
a full length bobbin coil eddy current inspection. A 3-coil Rotating Pancake Coil (RPC) probe was used to confirm and characterize all distorted indications found through bobbin coil examination. In addition, a random sample of 10% of the tubes in the 2B and 2C steam generators was inspected at the roll transition region at the top of I the tube sheet with the RPC probe to inspect for circumferential cracks. No circumferential cracks were identified.
The enclosure summarizes the inspection results. Included are indication lists and maps, a guide to abbreviations used in the indication list, and the qualification requirements of the certified personnel performing the eddy current examinations.
