Waterford 3 SES Docket No. 50-382 License No. NPF-38 NRC Generic Letter 95-07, Pressure Locking and Thermal Binding of Safety-Related Power-0perated Gate Valves Gentlemen:
This letter provides notification that Waterford 3 will implement the requested actions of Generic Letter 95-07. Waterford 3 will implement the actions requested in Generic Letter 95-07 on the following schedule:
Within 90 days of the date of the generic letter, complete the screening evaluations to identify potentially susceptible valves and document operability bases.or take action in accordance with Technical Specifications.
Within 180 days of the date of the generic letter, complete further analyses and identify corrective actions required to ensure susceptible valves are capable of performing their intended safety function.
The 180 day response to Generic Letter 95-07 will provide the information requested by the generic letter and a completion schedule for any planned equipment or procedural modifications.
