- NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS

- SEPTEMBER The unit was shut down on August 31, 1984 due to re-analysis.of 4

Cycle II-III eddy current test results which showed significant tube wall degradation in two tubes exceeding the tube plugging limit of-Technical Specification 3/4.4.6. This outage continued into the month of September. The unit.was returned to service on September 15. Other-wise, there were no unit shutdowns or significant power reductions during the month of September.

The following major safety-related maintenance wa's performed.in the month of September:

1. Plugged one tube in steam generator'2A and two tubes in steam generator 2B.

2. Performed miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance on diesel generators.
3. Replaced loop 2 downstream MSIV disk assembly due to loose

, fastener studs and tightened one loose fastener nut on loop 3 downstream MSIV.
