CALVERT CLIFFS 2 - ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT & FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT (0 ELD #847065)
I concur in this package subject 1.
to the changes marked on the paper, including the insert of new subsection on alternative use of resources (Part of Insert A).
If the words I propose are correct, use ray words but include the proper reference to the FES's (CPR)L).
If they are not correct, come back to me.
2.
I noted to you that I don't know who the properly delegated person is to sign the finding of no significant impact. The rule calls for the
" appropriate NRC staff director".
I do not have time to chase through NRR delegations.
If someone other than Mr. Denton is to sign, please at least call me or Mr. Gray to tell us of the basis for your conclusions that the proposed signer is properly delegated.
3.
The proposed properly delegat er should also have the opportunity to issue a draft finding if he so determines.
Please bring that fact to his attention.

Alternative Use of Resources This action does not involve the use of resources not previously considered in connectin with the Final Environmental Statements relating to this facility (reference to both the FES for the construction permit stage and for the operating license stage and any supplements, like the 40 year license supplements).
