Letter, A. Schwencer to E. G. Bauer, Jr.
" Limerick Unit 1 (proposed)
Technical Specifications," September 21, 1984
Dear Mr. Schwencer:
This letter responds to your request, made in the referenced letter, to review the proposed Limerick Unit 1 Technical Specifications, which were transmitted with your letter.
Philadelphia Electric Ccmpany has conducted an extensive interdisciplinary leview of the proposed Technical Specifications. At the request of Philadelphia Electric, our Nuclear Steam System Supplier and our Architect / Engineer have also performed independent reviews of the Technical Specifications. These reviews have identified the need to make certain minor changes which were either typographical, editorial or of a clarifying nature. Each of these changes has been discussed with Mr. Donald R. Hoffman of your Standardization and Special Projects Branch, and we understand that they will be incorporated into the Technical Specifications as a result of these discussions.
Based upon the foregoing and in response to your request, I hereby certify that, to the best of my knowledge the proposed Limerick Unit 1 Technical Specifications accurately reflect the plant, the Final Safety Analysis Report and other documentation, and the Safety Evaluation Report analyses. An affidavit relating to this certification acccupanies this letter.
Very truly yours, 3
