. September 20, 1984 EVENT DESCRIPTION AND ACTION TAKEN On August 14, 1984, with the Plant in Mode 1, the Digital Metal Impact Monitoring System was declared inoperable. The cause of this event has been attributed to failed printed electronic boards.

A purchase order has been initated, and the estimated date of receipt of the new boards is September 30, 1984.- Repair to the unit will be completed prior to start-up after the First Refueling Outage.
