Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
By my December 30, 1983 letter to you, we transmitted copies of a revision to the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Physical Security Plan dated October 31, 198 3 in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p). In response to the May 21, 1984 letter from E. G. Aderisam, NRC-NRR, to H. G. Parris and as discussed with Cynthia Perney in a telephone discussion on June 12, 1984, enclosed are five copies of a revised page for the 10 CFR 50.54(p) change dated October 31, 1984. By my June 13, 1984 letter to the Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, we submitted a proposed revision to the Physical Security Plan, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, to incorporate the Power Block Concept (PBC). This proposed revision will also resolve the NRC concern expressed in the May 21, 1984 letter regarding a long-term solution for compensatory measures.
The enclosed information is being sent by registered mail. The signed receipt signifies that you have received this information and acknowledge that it contains safeguards material and should be withheld from public dieclosure as defined by 10 CFR Part 73.21. This receipt will also be taken as verification that you: copies of the plan have been updated and the superseded material has been destroyed.
