Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Environmental Qualification of Electrical Equipment Your letter of May 25, 1984, requested additional information concerning the environmental qualification of electrical equipment and compliance with 10 CFR 50.49. As a result of a number of NRC audits at our corporate headquarters, GPUN has a better understanding of the information necessary to support qualification. We are now in the process of improving the auditability of the entire environmental qualification file as discussed in our letter of May 31, 1984 (5211-84-2122).
This work is scheduled for completion in July,1984 and, as discussed with J. Van Vliet of NRC on June 21, 1984, GPUN will provide a response to your request for additional information in August,1984.
