- 5) G01-83-344, dated 6/29/83, RA De Lorenzo to DM Sternberg Reference 3) informed your office of a reportable deficiency under 10CFR50.55(e) and transmitted an interim status report on the subject condition.
Reference 4) provided the Supply System's final report on the above caption condition; however, a completion schedule had not yet been established.
Since it has been determined that the only cable involved is that used in the Unit 4 penetrations (see reference 4) this letter only refers to Unit 4 and Docket No.
50-513.
During contract closecut activities, it was agreed between the Supply System and Westinghouse that the WNP-4 penetrations would be destroyed or made non-reusable.
Therefore, sections of the defective cable were renoved and the penetrations have been scrapped.
In view of thi s action, we consider the activities associated with this 10CFR50.55(e) to be complete and will not submit any further reports.
