STATUS OF CORRECTIVE ACTIONS SOUTH PLANT VENT RADIOLOGICAL RELEASE INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-354/95-05 HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NPF-57 DOCKET NO. 50-354 On August 17, 1995, via letter LR-N95126, PSE&G responded to a notice of violation concerning NRC Inspection Report No. 50-354/95-05.
Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201, the reply to that notice of violation described corrective steps that will be taken to avoid further violations.
The purpose of this letter is to provide an update on the status of those corrective actions.
The description of corrective actions, status and completion dates for ongoing corrective actions are contained in an attachment to this letter.

On April 5,11995, the-Hope Creek Generating Station experienced an' unplanned-release of radioactive material from the south plant vent. ' Subsequently, the NRC' issued a notice of violation for'-

The-radwaste system functional review has been completed.
The results. contained in the August 31, 1995, Final Report are being evaluated.
The completion dates for required corrective actions are being finalized and tracked by the Corrective Action Program.

Required corrective actions
-have been identified to improve safety evaluations developed and reviewed as part of the Design Change Package (DCP) process.
These corrective actions will be implemented by December 31, 1995.
