Docket 50-54 (R-81), NRC Order to Decommission Cintichem dated November 21, 1991 The referenced order' authorized the commencement of certain decommissioning tasks while fuel remained on site and required notification of the Commission when all fuel was removed from the facility prior to proceeding with the full decommissioning project according to the Cintichem Decommissioning. Plan dated October 19, 1990,- as amended.

As of February 1, 1992 all reactor f uel' was ~ removed f rom the-facility and it was - transferred to the - Savannah River Site for reprocessing. Cintichem . .will now _. carry -out the. full decommissioning project _as directed'in the referenced order..
