Dear Mr. Lieberman:

Enclosed is my response to the Demand for Information (DFI) sent to me by the NRC on September 29, 1993.

I have submitted two versions of the DFI response.

One contains the names of personnel and associated information about them, and its disclosure could represent an unwarranted invasion of personal j

privacy.

The other has been redacted to exclude the names of individual personnel.

I request that the non-redacted version be exempted from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790 and 9.17.

i As noted in my response to the DFI, I believe that there is no sound basis whatsoever for any enforcement action against me or anyone else who participated in the matters described in the DFI.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss the facts associated with these matters.
