On June 20, 1990, while in the process of reducing load due to unexplained high condensor level, the feed pump failed to keep adequate flow to the vessel and the unit scramed on low water 1evel.
On June 6, 1990, Unit I tied to the grid completing a scheduled one-hundred ten (110) day refueling and condenser retube outage, twenty six (26) hours ahead of schedule.
Unit I was shutdown on June 10, 1990, due to a problem in the m
turbine off-gas filtering system.
Plant management subsequently declared a Notification of Unusual Event after receiving further information about the problem. The NUE was terminated on June 16.
The unit returned to service on June 17. No significant damage was sustained by the off-gas system.
