This letter will serve to confirm our telephone convarsation on March 31,
- 1993, in which I advised you that our office has decided to close the criminal investigation concerning alleged misrepresentations made to the NRC by Southern Company related entities and individuals regarding the. Plant Vogtle distal generator issues.
We recommand that the NRC continue to pursue this matter administratively.
However, as I indicated, should sufficient facta develop in your administrative proceeding that would lead us to believe that it would be appropriate to reopen the criminal investigation, it in certainly possible that we might choose to do so.
