Commonwealth Edison Company (Byron Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2)
Docket Nos. 50-454 and 50-455
Dear Mike:
This will confirm our telephone conversation of this morning.
During the prehearing conference you informed me that all documents produced by you would be availabic cither at Isham, Lincoln & Beale or at Sargent & Lundy.
Acting on that information, we reviewed last week all documents pro-duced at Isham's offices, which were represented to be all l
the documents you would be producing (with the exception of l
the Sargent & Lundy documents discussed below).
This morning you told me that there are approximately five more file drawers of documents, at the site, falling within the request.
Because I have made arrangements to revicu the Sargent & Lundy documents the week of the 25th j
when I have a technical person to aid me in my review, you l
have agreed to make these availabic in Chicago the week of the 25th so that my technical reviewer may review them as wall.

You also indicated you would try to get me an " informal" copy of your interrogatory responses sometime today and a formal response by Wednesday.
I trust that holds true for i
your formal response to my requeat for the production of documents since, without your response, we cannot know whether you have produced all documents in each category, and to which requests, i f HrT9, you are ob,lecting.
The fact that this in holding up our preparation of our canc --
not to mention our discovery of your canc -- is obvious.
Picase be advised that we may weli need to seek an extension of, at a minimum, submiiision of Intervenors' profiled testimony (if any), and possibly postponement of the commencement of the hearing itself.
Very truly yours, Su-h
