Re: The Pre-hearing Conference of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board to be hold May 30,1984 at the Federal Building in Rockford.
We are among the many deeply concerned with the Commonwea^th Edison engaged in constructing more nuclear energy plants, and not placing these under the proper a'id reouired investigation.
Because of ill health at this time I will not be able to attend myself, but it is so assuring that a good many others will be able to be there fcr this hearing.
After having lived in Chicago for about 30 years I was advised by my doctor to get out of the city to a P ace with better alf, and I returned to.our old home here l
in Orangeville. But as you well realize. People in many parts cf :.his great country are facing the problem of the proper disposal of nuclear wastes.
We have confidence in your presiding at this Pre-hearing Corderence, as have many others in this area.
