Dear Mr. Margulies:

I have just received a copy of a letter sent to you from the Chairman, Burke County Board of Commissioners requesting that the Licensing Hearing for Plant Vogtle be held in Burke County.

I wholeheartedly endorse this recommendation and urge your support of this request.

I feel very strongly that 'the~TIEople most directly affected by the. plant should have easy access to these hearings.

Those residing in Burke County and the City of Waynesboro certainly belong in that category.

If there is anything further that I can do to insure that the hearing is held at our Office Park Auditorium, please let me hear from you.

This is a vital concern for all of our citizens.

Sincerely, LA Georg L. DeLoach Mayor GLD:Jj cc: Dr. Oscar H. Paris Mr. Gustave A. Linenberger, Jr.
