SUBJECT:
New Abnormal Operating Procedure (ity (ERF) Computer is Off-lineAOP) to When The Emergency Response facil In Licensee Event Report 91-023 (Reference 2), Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) committed to develop an AOP by March 1, 1992 that would provide onerators with specific guidance and corrective actions to be taken when the ERI computer is off-line.
The AOP being developed is A0P-34, " Loss of the ERf Computer."
0 PPD is currently updating the format cf the fort Calhoun Station (FCS) A0Ps, with a scheduled completion date of June 30, 1992.
In order to initially implement the new A0P-34 in the updated format, OPPD requests that the Reference 2 ccmmitment date be changed to June 30, 1992. Mr. R. P. Mullikin of NRC Region IV agreed with this extension in a telephone call on January 15, 1992 with Mr.
G. M. Cook of OPPD.
