O concerns which led to making the 1979 shutdown orders immedi-ately effective have been sufficiently resolved so that the Commission should lift the immediate effectiveness of those or-ders prior to completion of review of any appeals from ALAB-772.

Licensee is responding to the Commission's June 1 Order.

We believe that immediate effectiveness considerations should take priority over merits review considerations and have so ordered our priorities.

Because'the same Licensee resources are interested in both issues and cannot be applied to both at once, Licensee requests a brief but reasonable extension of time to file with the Commission a petition for review of ALAB-772.1/

Accordingly, Licensee moves for an extension of time until June 28, 1984, to file a petition for review of ALAB-772.

Respectfully submitted, SHAW, PITTMAN,-'POTTS & TROWBRIDGE GH.#4,6 Ernest L.

Blake, Jr.,-P.C.,

- Counsel for Licensee 1/

Licensee is filing this same date with the Appeal Board a request-for stay of the remand ordered lin,ALAB-772, pend -

ing the outcome of appeals.
