Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a Potentially Roportablo Deficiency in Referenco (A),

an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B) and Timo Extensions wore requested by References (C) and (D). At that timo, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by May 31, 1984.

Due to the extensive investigation and evaluatton required, it is now expected that this information will be finalized by July 15, 1984, at which time, a complete report will be submitted.

There is no new information or change to the Interim Report at this timo.
