" Inspections of BWR Stainless Steel Piping"
Dear Sir:
This letter requests that the date for submittal of the information required by Generic Letter 84-11 be extended from June 4, 1984 to June 20, 1984.
This extension will allow time necessary to clarify questions that have arisen regarding the requirements of the Generic Letter and to prepare an adequate response.
This request for. extension was not submitted, by May 3, 1984, as requested by the Generic Letter for two reasons.
- First, the Generic Letter was not received by the Authority until May 1, 1984 which did not allow sufficient time to consider whether an extension would be necessary.
Secondly, we are still awaiting resolution of several technical questions regarding the contents of the Generic Letter.
