Dear Mr. Norelius:
Toledo Edison acknowledges receipt of your April 18, 1984 letter (Log No.
1-947), and report 50-346/84-04 (DPRP).
In your inspection report cover letter you requested that Toledo Edison describe, in writing, the interim measures we have taken or plan to take to improve our maintenance program.
Subsequent to issuance of Inspection Report 84-04, Toledo Edison presented, on April 27, 1984, an update of the Performance Enhancement Program.
Based upon the discussions that ensued at this meeting and the material presented, Toledo Edison believes the request contained in Inspection Report 84-04 is satisfied.
Consistent with your request at the conclusion of the meeting, Toledo.
Edison intends to submit a report describing the interim measures,taken to improve our maintenance program by June 29, 1984.
