Information on...

Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2020 10:19:00 AM I have a little bit of information to go with for the time being:

1. Regarding the original of the 9/23/2019 DFP - I will issue the approval of the review of with a caveat to send in a signed original within 60 days. If we are still fighting this thing at that time, you, as the RSO, could send me a letter requesting an extension, and I will put something together to grant another 60 days. I would have like to be entirely done with it, but they choose to stand by the requirement for a signed original, even though the regulation allows for acceptance of a copy. I have pitched that to them, that, NIST being another government facility should give us some basis on which to accept a copy. Ill let you know if this changes. In the meantime, I will give you my mailing address at the NRC, whereby you could send a signed original directly to me. In parallel, if you were to send me an electronic copy so I can be looking for it.

2. Regarding the possession limit delay on responding to the RAI, as I mentioned, send me an email explaining the delay. I will docket that and grant via email and extension.

Anyway, I hope this covers all this. If there are any questions, dont hesitate to call me.
