ULNRC-823 DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 CALLAWAY PLANT, UNIT 1 OPERATING SHIFT STAFFING During the NRC Briefing at the Callaway Plant on May 9, 1984, the shift staffing and shift advisor qualifications were reviewed by members of your staff.
It is Union Electric's understanding that NRC is satisfied with information discussed during this meeting which included:
o the duties and authority of shift advisors and their working relationship with operating shift personnel, o
the training program for shift advisors and the written and oral examinations administered to shift advisors, o
the medical' screening program for shift advisors, and o
the program for evaluating shift advisor performance.
As requested during the May 9 meeting, resumes for the shift advisors and_the Advisor to the Plant Manager are herewith submitted to NRC.
This material should be incorporated into the callaway Docket.
Please contact us if you have further questions concerning our program or the qualifications of our advisors.
