50-260 59-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - CORRECTION TO BFN's DIESEL GENERATOR FUEL OIL SAMPLING REQUIREMENTS LETTER

References:

1.

NRC letter to TVA dated February 12, 1991, (1) Issuance of Amendments Concerning Diesel Generator Technical Specifications (TAC nos. 76130, 76131, and 76132) (TS 277) - BFN, Units 1, 2, and 3; (2) Request for Additional Information TVA letter to NRC dated June 10, 1991, BFN - Request for Additional Information on BFN's Diesel Generator Fuel Oil (DFO) Sampling Requirements Reference 1 requested additional information concerning the requirements for sampling the diesel generator fuel oil. Reference 2 submitted the additional information requested. The enclosure of reference 2, item 2.0, TVA's response, item la) contained the statement

" water / sediment content 1 0.5 volume". This statement should have read as follows: water / sediment 1 0.05 volume percent.

The above correction resulted from a typographical error found in the TVA letter. TVA/BFN requests a correction be made to the TVA submittal.

This request was discussed with Thierry M. Ross, Project Manager, Project Directorate II on October 7, 1991.
