Dear Mr. Schwencer:
We are pleased to offer the following confirmatory information in support of the resolution of SER confirmatory issue #19.
The reference procedure provides the following note, after step 3.3.16, to enture that the remote-manual motor-operated valves on the feedwater bypass lines are isolated once the reactor pressure reaches 600 psig during plant heatup and pressurization to rated temperature and pressure:
"Encure feedwater startup flush valves HV-41-109A (209A) and 109B (209B) are closed whenever reactor pressure is above 600 psig".
