SIMULATOR FIDELITY REPORT Facility Licensee Georgia Power Company Facility Docket Nos.:
50-321 and 50-366 Operating Tests Administered on:
February 25 26, 1992 This form is to be used only to report observations.
These observations do not constitute, in-and of themselves, audit or inspection findings and are not, without further verification and review, indicative of non-compliance with 10 CPR 55.45(b).
These observations do not affect NRC certification or approval of the simulation facility other than to provide information which may be used_1.1 future evaluations.
No licensee action is required solely in response to these observations.
During the conduct of the simulatorLportion of the operating-tests, the following items were. observed :
DESCRIPTION The interlock between RHR valves F006 and F028 is not properly simulated in the model for some conditions.
This interlock is required to be jumpered out when it is desired to lower Reactor Water level using the RilR system.
When the jumper is installed, the-F028 valve should open rsgardless of the position of its' handswitch.
This did not occur.
The Diesel Generator battery _ ground detection lights constantly indicated that all buses were grounded (ie the lights were continually bright) when they were not.
