MONIICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PIMTI Docket No 50-263 License No DPR-42 Torus Level and Drywell To Torus Pressure Differential Instrumentation This letter is in response to your Febtuary 4,1977 letter seeking commitments on containment instrumentation.

Additional instrumentation has been installed to monitor torus level and drywell to torus pressure differential.

Each pirameter is monitored by two channels of instrumentation having accuracies within the range specified by the NRC staff technical position attached to your February 4,1977 letter.

We are not convinced that it is appropriate that the Technical Specificatiot.,

include requirements for monitoring instrumentation of this nature. How-ever, in compliance with your request, we will submit proposed changes on or before April 15, 1977.
