i On October 29, 1976, General Electric transmitted Revision 0 of the Mark I Owners Group " Program Action Plan".
In a letter to victor Stello, dated November 9,1976, Northern States Power Company requested that this document be included on the Monticello docket.
In a 1ctter to Northern States Power Company dated December 23, 1976, couraente on this Program Action Plan were provided.
In response to these coments, the Mark 1 Owners Group directed GE to review the Program Action Plan as appropriate to more completely describe the individual tasks in order to demonstrate that information would be generated during the program to cover the items raised.
This was discussed in detail at a NRC/ Mark I Owners Group meeting held in San Jose on February 2, 3 and 4.
The Mark I owners Group Program Action Plan has also been revised and was transmitted to the NRC by GE via L J Sobon's letter to Victor Stello, dated February 11, 1977.
This revision (Rev 1) should be included on the Monticello l
docket.
The GE tranmnittal date is later than requested in the December 23, 1976 letter to Northern States Power Company.
Due to scheduling changes for the meeting referenced in that letter, the February 11 transmittal date was mutually agreed to by the NRC and the Mark 1 Owners Group.
With the Program Action Plan update completed, it is anticipated that the staff's Safety Evaluation Report on the Mark I Short Term Program will be issued in the near future.
