MONTICELLO NUCLFAR GENERATING PIANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Design Report for Redundant Reactor Building Crane Attached are forty copies of a report describing a modification thich will provide redundant lifting features on the Monticello Reactor Building Crane.
The report is being submitted for your review to insure that the crane design vill be acceptable for use in handling the spent fuel shipping cask.
Since it is anticipated ths.t fabrication of the new trolley vill begin in January 1977, your early attention to this inatter is requested.
Representatives from our Company will meet with mem-bers of your staff should you find it necessary.
