Dear Mr. Chairman:
I am writing in behalf of the Minnesota Polluticn Control Agency's request that the environmental impact statement on Northorn States Powcr Company's Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant be considerably accolorated for completion by March or April 1972 and that hearings be held promptly thercafter.
This is a matter of considerable urgoney.
Whenever questions arise concerning the safe operation of a plant and continued radicactive discharges from the plant is a main concern, I think it is imperative that a thorough and c::peditious report'be made for the welfarc of our citizens.
I strongly urgo that all forces necessary to render an early impact statement on the Monticello Nuclear Plant be mobilized.
