TO THE DEMONSTRATION OF THE PRACTICAL VAIUE OF THE FACILITY FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES A cn Northern States Power Company, a corporation orgar. zed under the laws of the State of Minnesota, applicant for an operating license and construction permit for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant, hereby amends the Fa-cility Description and Safety Analysis Report by submission of replacement pages to this report. These replacement pages reflect the revised engineered safeguards systems and make corrections for minor errors in the original report.

This amendment to the application for a construction permit contains no re-stricted or other defense information.
