MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Compliance with Revised Inservice Inspection Testing Requirements In a letter dated April 28, 1976 from Mr D L Ziemann, Chief,0perating Reactors Branch # 2, USNRC, to Mr L 0 Mayer, NSP, we were asked to supply information re-lated to implementation of recent changes to 10CFR Part 50.55a. The following information is supplied in response to this request:

Change Request will be submitted August 30, 1977 An initial request for relief from certain portions of ASME Section XI will be I
submitted in accordance with 10CFR Part 50.55a (g) (5) (iii) in conjunction with the Technical Specification Change Request to be submitted by August 30, 1977.
Submission of an In-Service Inspection Evaluation and Development Report is required by Technical Specification 6.7.C.2 following the five-year in-service inspection scheduled for the Autumn, 1977 refueling outage. This report was originally intended to describe the lifetime in-service inspection D
