MONTICELW NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-263 License No. DPR-22 Time Extension for Response to August 21. 1975 Letter Your August 21, 1975 letter informed us that you believe design modi-fications should be implemented at Monticello to reduce the probability of an AWS event. We were requested to provide, within 45 days, additional information concerning the plant response to an AWS event, a description of our proposed modification and a schedule for in-plementation.
We find that we are unable to provide an adequate response within 45 days. We believe,e can respond to the short-term items and provide a schedule for longer-term matters by November 10, 1975. We trust that your schedule can accommodate such an extension.
