HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-154 EVALUATION OF DRYWELL INSULATION DEBRIS EFFECTS ON ECCS PUMP PERFORMANCE The Hope Creek Generating Station Draft Safety Evaluation Report Section 6.2.2 contains an open item regarding insulation debris generation and transport due to the effects of a LOCA break within the primary containment.
In response to these NRC concerns, Public Service Electric and Gas Company hereby submits the attached report prepared for i
the Hope Creek Generating Station, " Evaluation of Drywell Insulation Debris Effects on ECCS Pump Performance," dated May 1984.
To support the Hope Creek Generating Station licensing schedule, Public Service Electric and Gas Company is anxious to meet with appropriate NRC staf f personnel at the earliest opportunity to discuss any comments pertaining to the attached report and to resolve this concern.
