Dear Sir & Madame:
Revisions are hereby proposed for the Pennsylvania State University Dreareale Reactor (PSBR) Physical Security Plan. One item has been changed at the f acility so the secunty plan needs to be updated. The security plan will be updated by replacing page 1 1 with the one included with this letter. A physical description of this change follows. The change does not reduce the secunty of the protected areas.
The change is in Section 1.1.1 first paragraph on page 1 1. The item that has been altered is item nutriber 2 in f 6gure 2 a glazed plexiglass window. The plexiglass window was replaced by a tempered glass window. The tempered glass is as resistant to penetration as the plexiglass that is being replaced. We consider this to be a minor change under 10 CFR 50.54 (p) so prior approval was not required Ncie, that the attachment contains information withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CF R 2.790 (d)
An exemption of f ees for this licensing action is requested under the provisions of 10 CFR 17011 (a) (4).
