Georgia Power Cmpany letter NED-83-645 dated Decmber 27,

%e information was provided in response to several specific questions concerning radiological controls raised by the FRC staff following their initial review of our Novmber 7,1983, subnittal which provided details of the piping replacment.
Since the start of the piping replacment, several itms concerning radiological controls have been re-evaluated.

Reference:
Deceber 27 subnittal, Attachnent 1, Page 1, Its A, (4), but, were evaluated for use.
%e water bladders were found to be a viable shielding technique for use where dose rates are expected to be higher than those encountered at Hatch Unit 2.
