I JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
OF OPERATIONS June, 1984 There were no unit shutdowns or significant power reductions during the month of June. On May 25, 1984, the IC steam generator atmospheric relief valve lifted four times within a half hour period. A thorough investigation revealed no cause for this event and the valve wa6 returned to service. No further occurrences have been noted.
The following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of June:
1.
Performed miset11aneous corrective and preventive maintenance on diesel generators.
2.
Replaced bearings on 1C diesel generator.
3.
Replaced #4 river water pump.
4.
Replaced steam generator level transmitter LT-495.
