Dear Mr. Schwencer:
The following providss our partial response to your Reference (1)-
RAI which identified two confirmatory items needing further clarification.

Aging The specific program which will be used to detect unanticipated, age related degradation of electrical cables inside containment was provided as a' revised response to NRC RAI 270.8 which is documented in Section 11.0 of the Environmental Qualification Report (D]R) for Electrical Equiptent, Revision 1.
The EQR (Revision 1)' was transmitted in Reference (2).
As discussed in Reference' (3), our response to RAI 270.8 closes out your concerns about aging of electrical cables.

Equipment Requiring Additional Information and/or Corrective Action The ' Limerick qtelification files have been reviewed to ensure that identified deficiencies are eliminated and resolutions documented in an auditable form. We will provide a set of errata to the EQR (Revision 1) by August 31, 1984 to document the resolution of the identified deficiencies. At that time, we will also provide notification that all electrical equignent is environmentally qualified.
Therefore, Justification for Interim Operation will not be required.
