The reference letter transmitted information concerning the design experience of Torrey Pines Technology reviewers. Recently five additional personnel were assigned to assist in t.he independent design review effort; 15 ccpies of a cmpleted experience fonn for each new teviewer are enclosed.
Also enclosed are 15 copies of the Experience Sumary which has been revised to reflect the new reviewers and their task assignments.

l prepared, reviewed, and updated subsystem design descriptions (SDDs) for these systems.
l l In the past year, jointly carried out a functional analysis for,and prepared a system l
l description of, the Primary Coolant (Helium) System for the HTGR.
Prepared a Test Specification for and followed the construction of, a large (1/6 scale) l l Lower Plenum Flow Distribution Rig which is currently being used for extensive DV&S l
l testing.
It simulates the lower plenum of the HTGR.

l l Previously involved with thermochemical water splitting, nuclear heat source coal l
